Minnesota opened it's season back where it ended last April, at the Xcel
Center in St Paul playing in the annual Hall-of-Fame game.

Minnesota scored 7 goals from 7 different players, three of them
freshmen!

Goalie Travis Weber did an outstanding job and made some big saves early
in the game. The Buckeyes got on the board at the end of the third.

Junior captain Grant Potulny injured his ankle in the second period and
did not play the rest of the game.  He will be evaluated today or
Monday.

Nice way to start the season Gophers!
