The reason for the first wildcat in the box was dislodging the goal
intentionally as the huskies scored the apparent tying goal. Ames
disallowed the goal and put the wildcat in the box for 2 minutes
According the the Paper Ames admitted after the game that he made
a mistake and should have awarded a penalty shot. Needless to say
a great game ended on a sour note. Tech blew a lead but the ref
blew the call that may have given them a second chance in OT.

>of us, I'm sure. (If the game ends in a tie the series will stand at

actually goal differential would have decided the cup then.

No apologies needed thanks for the effort! Low and behold as
i went to the central ticket office Saturday to reserve my seat for the
FINAL regular season bus trip to Duluth I noticed 2 tickets sitting
on the desk. She said they weren't picked up and i could have them
we got to Marquette 15 minutes before tip off ;-)

If things stay the way they are looks like we may come back to
Marquette to see you again in the first round of the playoffs.
with only 2 wcha games left looks bleak for home playoffs.
