The true story is that on the treacherous bus ride home from North Station,
Parker figured that they would not be able make the trip all the way to the
dormitories at West Campus. The players asked that they be dropped off at
the Dugout, but Parker knew that it would be inappropriate to leave his
players at a bar. In a moment of divine inspiration, he decided to allow the
players to get dropped off in front of Marsh Chapel, beside BU's School of
Theology. The Chapel is located directly across the street from the Dugout.
