UNH defeats UMass-Loweel in Lowell last night by a score of 9-4.

UNH's defensive play was weak...especially that of a certain Senior Captain.

UMass-Lowell's Martin Fillion had an incredible night in goal. He
notched 15 incredible saves in the first period (as reported by WNDS).
Most of UNH's goals were basically having someone to put it away, though
they found the 5 hole a couple of times...

This game was perhaps the most physical that I've seen the 'Cats play all
year. Jamie Filipowitz (sp?) was the oplayer who impressed me the most
with timely hits and fore-checking...

Mike Souza, a UNH Freshman, scored the hat-trick last night. He was
almost joined by Jason Krog who notched 2 goals and had about 4 other bids.

These two teams will play at the Whit. this evening, without UNH's Mark
Mowers, Brian (?) Enders and also without 2 UMass-Lowell players (whose
names escape me...)

Tonights game will certainly be a good, agressive rematch.

*** One final note...UNH did something I haven't seen them do much of
lately...They played like a Top 10 team...

;)
