Hmm, the HOCKEY-L poll -- that might be an interesting idea. We certainly
have a wider cross-section of possible participants than any of the
"official" polls out there. The individual responses may tend to be a
little regional in nature (much like some of the polls), but perhaps
collecting them together would produce something a little more accurate.
Hey, we could see how the opinion of HOCKEY-L compares to the cold, dis-
passionate, mathematical ranking of TCHCR :-)

If enough people are interested in this, I've got some disk space that's
crying out to be used, and I could set something up to collect and tabulate
the responses. So what do you think about a HOCKEY-L poll? If it sounds
like a good idea (or if you want to tell me I'm all wet), let me know. My

don't want to clutter up HOCKEY-L with this stuff. Note that your mailer's
"Reply" command will probably send your message to the list, rather than me)

LET'S GO RED!!
"I used to work in a delicatessen. I got fired, though, because I would refuse
to serve tongue to the customers. I thought it was disgusting -- I don't like
the idea of tasting something that might be tasting me back."
