I am certain that it is the Redskins.  I do not recall ever hearing Miami
being called the Redmen before.
 
BTW:  There is a survey being taken by ESPNet.  There are a couple of
options underwhich you can express your interest in college hockey.
It might be worth one's time to drop by and drop an entry to them.  It
only takes about five minutes, and it might help boost coverage on the Net.
