Nope, no myth. :> Goaltenders are the only players that are allowed to
play with broken sticks. If a forward, center or defenseman breaks a
stick, he must play without a stick until he can skate to the bench and
retrieve a substitute stick. Of course, if a goalie breaks a stick, I
recommend that he skate on over to his bench when time permits to get a
new stick. :>
