Wasn't Janaszak a Gopher?

When I was a lad he was the goalie coach at a hockey school I attended at
Augsberg Arena in Minneapolis. I'm pretty sure he was a Gopher. This is
really reaching far back. Wasn't his first name Steve?

BTW Ron Foyt was there talking to us about refs. I used to look up to him
until I played against him in a men's league a few years back... Not a very
classy player. I won't talk about his refing qualities.

Another coach at the hockey school was almost famous. Tom Vannelli. I
believe he was the last person cut from the 80 Olympic team. He was so upset
he threw all his hockey equipment away. He was teaching hockey school on
borrowed skates.

Vannelli has done some color commentary for Gopher hockey games on the radio
before 1500 KSTP picked up the broadcasts when the North Stars left town.

Remember, this is 15 year old information. I won't stand behind any of it.
