From an editorial on the sports page of the Binghamton (NY)Press this
morning, the column starts:
Pigs are soaring overhead, kids are ice skating on the ponds in hell
and Charlie Brown has just kicked the winning field goal......

Congrats to long suffering Sox fans everywhere.

Obligatory hockey content:
RPI has announced that RPI alumnus Adam Oates will be present at the
November 5 RPI-Clarkson game and will be inducted into the RPI
athletics hall-of-fame in a special on-ice ceremony between the second
and third period.

My best recollection is that this will be the first return to RPI ice
since 1985 when Oates left RPI to join the NHL. He has been back to
the Capital District area numerous times as he sponsors an
NHL-celebrity golf tournament yearly.

Oates on the ice and RPI vs. Clarkson. As they said on TV during the
World Series: I Live for This!!!
