*What is happening?*
Starting at 6AM Sunday morning we will shutting down Grouper to move it
from CentOS6 to CentOS7 and enable single signon authentication.

*Note: *After this upgrade login will be via the single signon page and you
will log in with just your ID and not need to specify [log in to unmask]

Grouper maintains groups in LDAP and AD that are used for authentication
and authorization.   Some groups are generated from Peoplesoft data and ID
Management data, others are manually updated.   While it is down for
maintenance, no changes will be made to these groups.

*How long will it take?*
The move should take less than 30 minutes, but we are reserving a total of
an hour in case of delays.

*Why is this work necessary?*
We are planning upgrades to the Grouper software in the near future and
moving it to a more recent version of CentOS will aid this work.   Enabling
single sign on is to make signing in to Grouper easier.

*What happens if the work is not successful?  *
We will back out to the previous version of the Grouper system while we
work to resolve the issues.
