This week in CCHA history...January 3, 1987...Bowling Green's Gary
Kruzich breaks Ken Dryden (76-4-1) record for career wins by
beating Lake Superior.  He went on to win 88 games.  (Record
recently eclipsed by Michigan's Steve Shields.)
 
David Oliver's (UM) point scoring streak has increased to 20 games.
 
Also, there are 170 former CCHA players currently playing
professional hockey in North America.  This total includes persons
who didn't actually play in the CCHA, but who's alma mater is now
a member of the CCHA.  (E.g. John Blum, Michigan.)  I have no
intention of typing out all 170 players, but here is a list of
