Normally, when UIC gets a win in BG, it is big news. But not when Ferris
sweeps Michigan State. Western swept Miami, dropping the Spartans to 6th.
If OSU sweeps this weekend, MSU falls to 7th.
The Michigan-BU box score looks interesting (BU gets 6 in the first). Any
hi-lites from someone who was there?

CCHA PLAYER-OF-THE-WEEK: Ferris State senior left wing Rod Taylor has been
named CCHA Player-of-the-Week for the weekend of November 30-December 2.

Taylor, a 5-9, 175 lb. native of Lake Orion, Michigan, had four goals (two
each night) in the Bulldogs home-and-home sweep of Michigan State. In FSU's
4-2 home win Friday, Taylor scored the only goal of the first period and then
scored with just under seven minutes left giving FSU a 4-2 lead. In East
Lansing Saturday, Taylor scored a power play goal late in the second period
giving FSU a 4-2 lead. After MSU tied the score at four, Taylor scored
another power play goal with 11 minutes left in the third period.

Taylor leads the CCHA with 10 power play goals. For the year, he has 17 goals
in 16 games with four assists. This is the second time this season he has
been named CCHA Player-Of-The-Week.
