First off, you're on high ground there. No worries about flooding.
In Roseville, you've probably got a car, and the basics are available nearby
in the Rosedale Mall sprawl or at the original Target site (Cty B and
Snelling just S of Hwy 36). Apart from that there's Joe Senser's and
Grumpy's for sports-bar type places.

Campus Maps

You'll probably want the color map of campus. Ridder is on the "East Bank"
(refers to east side of the Mississippi).
You should use the construction closures link from my original email to
check the East Bank map to plot your route to parking around the
University. ("The U" if you want more local lingo)

Our gang frequents the Stadium Village places along Washington Ave. The Big
Ten (Washington near Harvard), Stub and Herb's (Washington at Oak) and
Campus Pizza (Washington near Ontario). Also near those is Sally's.

You'll likely drive in from the other direction on University Ave from 35W.
In that direction are the Dinkytown options, including Blarney's and The
Library
