Harvard defeated Dartmouth 3-2 in the first game of their ECAC quarterfinal.

Alex Killorn put Harvard up 1-0 scored early in the first, but Adam Estoclet
tied it up for Dartmouth with 4:00 left in the first. The play was reviewed
(it appeared they were looking to see whether he kicked it in), and while
the goal was allowed, it seemed to kill any momentum Dartmouth had. Harvard
retook the lead 1:15 later and led 2-1 after 1.

Michael Del Mauro had the only goal of the second, putting Harvard up 3-1
with 1:11 left in the period.

Dartmouth pulled the goalie with 2 1/2 minutes left, and Scott Fleming
scored with 1:26 to pull the Big Green to within one at 3-2. Once Dartmouth
regained the zone and pulled the goalie again, they had several excellent
chances to score, but couldn't finish. Finishing was an issue for Dartmouth
all game.

Ryan Carroll made 27 saves for Harvard, James Mello made 28 for Dartmouth.

I'm not sure what's got into Harvard since they stunk it up against
Northeastern at the Beanpot, but they're not a team I'd want to play right
now.
