I am questioning if Robin should be allowed to play. My reasoning is that she first says she "was in class all morning", but the deadline was noon, which technically is not morning. Secondly, she was in a Statistics or other class in a department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics. Now suppose that during class she gave her students an assignment to predict the winner of a contest with pertinent data (such as #wins, conference standing, CHORD score, USCHO ranking, seed, etc.). How can we all compete with that? So in that case it would not be fair to let her entry stand. But, I remember a Hobey Baker winner saying the "best team did not win" but he was obviously wrong, so maybe it would be fair to let her play. Okay, she can play.
