It wasn't just that game. It started at the US vs Canada game, won by Canada 3-2 on an open net goal. One of the Canadian players slashed Jack Johnson, and Johnson retaliated with an elbow just after the open net goal. Johnson got a penalty as he should have, and also as he should have, received the player of the game award! But the Canadian fans were upset at his treatment of the Canadian player, so they booed Johnson EVERY time he touched the puck, and the Americans in general. So, what else is new?

Subject: World Junior Hockey - USA vs. Russia
I heard on a PodCast that the Canadian fans booed the USA team and
cheered for the Russians during the game at the World Juniors
Tournament.
Does anyone know anything about this? If it is true, it is a disgrace.
Thanks.
