Minnesota had a goal fest this evening!  Three players had Hat Tricks!

Troy Riddle, Jon Waibel and Thomas Vanek.  The other Gopher goals were
scored by Keith Ballard, Matt DeMarchi and Matt Koalska.

Travis Weber played well in goal for the Gophers.  The Chargers' went
with Byrne for the first two periods and then put in Munroe.

Oh, and we raised our 2002 National Championship Banner tonight as it
was the Gophers first home game! In fact they had all new Championship
Banners made, they are gold with maroon lettering and are very
striking!

Same two teams meet again tomorrow night.
