Harvard 0 Mass Lowell 2
This was really a 1 goal game. Lowell had by far the better of the
play but the harvard defense and goalie played well. Harvards good
chances came mainly on breakaways. The power play goal wasone that
crothers had no chance on as he made the first stop but the goal came
up high from close in and he had no chance. The second goal was a
soft one from the left (facing the net) point beating the goalie on
the short side low. Of course he was down after the power olay goal.

Denver 3 Bowling green 1
In the first period, denver outshot the falcons 27 to 2, and the game
seemed even more one-sided than that. Early game linesman Gary Pedigo
quipped that the only reason they had to run the zamboni over the
denver end of the ice was because the refs had to go back to get the
puck after the icings.

The other two periods were basically even witrh the teams trading
goals in the second and DU getting the empty netter to ice the contest
less than 12 seconds after Masters was pulled for an extra skater on a
Denver end faceoff.
