PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Providence College senior forward J.J. Picinic of Fort
Lee, N.J. was named HOCKEY EAST Player of the Week on Monday, November 20.
It marked the first time in his career that Picinic has earned HOCKEY EAST
Player of the Week honors.
Picinic received his Player of the Week honor after registering three goals
and two assists and helping the Friars earn two wins against 10th-ranked
Northeastern University on November 17-18. On November 17, he netted the
game-winning goal in the Friars' 3-1 victory over the Huskies. The
following night, Picinic registered two goals and two assists in PC's 4-2
