WHO'S HOT:  Senior Matt Libby (Scao, Maine) has tallied at least one point 
in all six of PC's games this season.
Sophomore Devin Rask (Parkside, Saskatchewan) tallied a hat trick versus 
Maine on November 3 and has registered 11 points in six games.
Sophomore Nolan Schaefer (Yellow Grass, Saskatchewan) has posted a 3-0-0 
record with a 1.33 goals against average and a .962 save percentage.
Senior J.J. Picinic (Fort Lee, N.J.) has scored three goals this season for 
the Friars, entering this season Picinic had tallied just two career goals.

RASK LEADS OFFENSE... Sophomore Devin Rask (Parkside, Saskatchewan) 
registered his first career hat trick in PC's 5-3 win over Maine on 
November 3.   It marked the third time this season that Rask has recorded a 
three-point game.  Rask is the Friars' leading scorer with 11 points (six 
goals, five assists).

SCHAEFER POSTS CAREER HIGH FOR SAVES... Sophomore Nolan Schaefer (Yellow 
Grass, Saskatchewan) posted a 5-3 win over Maine on November 3 at Schneider 
Arena.  Schaefer stopped career high 39 shots for his third win of the 
season.  In three games, Schaefer has posted a 3-0-0 record, a 1.33 goals 
against average and an .962 save percentage.

FRIARS POST 1-1-0 WEEKEND RECORD...The Friars' record stands at 4-1-1 after 
a 5-3 win over Maine on November 3 and a 5-1 loss at Brown on November 
4.  On November 3, Devin Rask (Parkside Saskatchewan) led the Friars' 
offense registering his first career hat trick.  Sophomore Doug Wright 
(Kamsack, Saskatchewan) and senior Adam Lee (Brampton, Ontario) scored a 
goal each for PC.  Sophomore Nolan Schaefer (Yellow Grass, Saskacthewan) 
recorded 39 saves for his third win of the season.  On November 4, the 
Friars ended their five-game unbeaten streak with a 5-1 loss to Brown at 
the 15th annual Mayor's Cup. Senior J.J. Picinic (Fort Lee, N.J.) notched 
PC's lone goal.  Boyd Ballard (Weyburn, Saskatchewan) stopped 25 shots in 
the loss

FIRST PERIOD SUCCESS...In PC's first six games, the Friars have outscored 
their opponents 13-2 in the opeing period of play.

Kelly Bolsters the defense...Freshman Regan Kelly (Imperial, Saskatchewan) 
has been one of PC's top defenseman.  In his first five games. he has 
notched a team leading six assists.  On November 3, the rookie blueliner 
recorded two assists in the Friars' 5-3 win aginast Maine.  Last season, 
Kelly earned SJHL All-Star honors playing for the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL.

Next FOR the FRIARS... The Friars will host the New Hampshire Wildcats on 
Friday, November 10 at Schneider Arena at 7:00 p.m.  On Saturday, November 
11, Providence will travel to Durham for a 7:00 p.m. rematch versus UNH..

THE Providence-NEW HAMPSHIRE ALL-TIME Series... Friday's game will be the 
104th meeting between the two schools.  Providence holds a 43-50-10 mark in 
the all-time series.  The two teams first met on February 12, 1927 with New 
Hampshire defeating the Friars, 5-1, at the Rhode Island Auditorium.  The 
loss to the Wildcats was one of seven defeats the Friars suffered in their 
first season of collegiate competition (1-7-0).  PC's last win over UNH was 
a 4-3 victory on February 12, 2000 at Schneider Arena.  The Friars' last 
loss to New Hampshire was a 2-1 defeat on November 13, 1999 at Schneider Arena.

NEW HAMPSHIRE vs. PC AT SCHNEIDER ARENA...  The Friars have posted a 
21-12-6 record against the Wildcats at Schneider Arena.  In PC's last game 
against New Hampshire at Schneider Arena, the Friars defeated the Wildcats, 
4-3, on February 12, 2000.  The Friars last loss to UNH was a 2-1 defeat on 
November 13, 1999 at Schneider Arena.

NEW HAMPSHIRE vs. PC AT WHITTEMORE CENTER... PC holds a 1-6 record against 
the Wildcats at Whittemore Center.  PC's only win at Whittemore Center was 
a 5-4 victory on January 27, 1996.  The Friars' last loss to the Wildcats 
at Whittemore Center was a 3-2 defeat in overtime on November 12, 1999.

LAST SEASON AGAINST THE WILDCATS... The Friars registered a 1-2-0 mark last 
season against the Wildcats.  In the first meeting between the Friars and 
the Wildcats last season, New Hampshire defeated PC, 3-2, in overtime, at 
Whittemore Center on November 12, 1999.  The Friars' goals were scored by 
Shawn Weiman and Fernando Pisani.  Goaltender Nolan Schaefer made 19 saves 
in his collegiate debut.  On November 13, the Friars were defeated by the 
Wildcats, 2-1, at Schneider Arena.  PC's only goal was scored by Doug 
Sheppard.  Boyd Ballard registered 26 stops in the game.  In the final 
meeting of the regular season, PC earned a 4-3 win over then No. 2 ranked 
UNH, at Schneider Arena.  Devin Rask tallied two goals for the Friars, 
while Pisani and Sheppard scored one goal each.  Ballard made 32 stops in 
the win.
