Down 4-2 in the second period, The MTU Huskies rallied for 3 goals to win
the game 5-4. Combined with Northern Michigan's loss to North Dakota, The
Huskies have climbed into a 3rd place WCHA tie with the wildcats, Making next
weeks home and home series with Northern even more important.
MTU's Hartnet lead off ther scoring at 3:41 assisted by Manninen and Peterson
CC evened it at 6:55 with a goal by Jaraczewski asssisted by Enga and Hynnes
MTU took the lead again at 17:57 on a power play goal by Steer assisted by
Storm.
CC scored the next 3 goals Block (strunk, Fearns) 1:29, Reynard (Nelson, Reid)
4:12 and Hynnes (Jaraczewski, Frank) 17:35.
Kevin Manninen scored with 44 seconds left in the second to bring the score
to 4-3 and Freshman Defenseman Liam Garvey scored to tie the game at 4 at the
2:07 mark of the 3rd. Manninen assisted on Osborne game winning goal at 13:48
MTU was 2 of 7 and cc 2 of 6 on the power play.
Sargent made 32 saves for MTU and Frank had 24 for CC
