I've always believed media coverage of college hockey is
disproportionate to the interest.  Sure it is way below football and
basketball ... but I don't believe it's far off women's basketball, if
at all.  In fact, I've been told it makes more money than women's hoops.
 
It doesn't deserve basically ZERO coverage, which is what it gets.  For
having only 50 teams in D-I or so, very regionally based -- it's not
that bad off.
