Wow! Why do we even play the rest of the regular season - it all really
comes down to the last weekend for 7 of the ECAC teams ('gate through UVM).
Going into this weekend, 10 teams out of 12 can still get home ice for the
"pentafinal" series. Amazing!

Anyone want to bet that all five home ice teams make it to Placid? I
wouldn't be surprised if only 3 home ice teams make it this year. The only
team that seems a shoo-in to me is Clarkson - even Yale looked human last
weekend, and it's really hard for me to make them an overwhelming favorite
with their lack of postseason experience. No flames please - Yale
certainly has my respect, just not my awe (yet).
