Things got tight at the top of the table! Only Dartmouth was able to
sweep its weekend series. So the Big Green are only one point behind
league leading New Hampshire and Northeastern. St Lawrence beat Harvard
and moved into the final play-off position. Boston College is making a
nice end of the season surge up the bottom of the ladder.
In the Ivy League, Dartmouth, Cornell and Brown have been locked in a
struggle for the title. Dartmouth can clinch on Saturday if they beat
Harvard at home.
This week the big match in the ECAC is the Brown at Cornell affair. The
winner may well end up with the final home ice slot for the play-offs.
The Northeastern at Dartmouth game is another intriguing contest.
Basically it is a clash for a higher seeding and a better mindset going
into the championship drive. St Lawrence has a tough last two weeks if
they are to remain ahead of Harvard. Since the Crimson has lost both of
its contest with the Saints, they will need more points to make the final
eight.
