Tim Lovell(Norwood, Mass.) has decided to red-shirt this year and play a
full year next season for the Umass-Amherst Minuteman. Lovell was a
stand-out at Maine for three years before he decided to transfer this
past summer.
 
This hurts Amherst's chances this year but they would have only had
Lovell for half the year anyhow. They'll now graduate 8 seniors this
spring and have Lovell returning next year with 9 juniors from the current
squad.
