Now wait a minute, isn't college hockey related to players who go to
college and study (or isn't that basically the idea behind it?) I mean,
I think academics and PR/outside stuff has everything to do with making
you more attractive in the eyes of the Hobey committee. It proves that
you are a well rounded person. I think some people (ERIC) are missing
the point of college athletics - College!
The fact that Bonin is talented on and off the ice only makes him look
better, in my eyes. He is by no means my favorite player, or even
my favorite person, but his numbers, community work, and grades make him
out to be a well rounded person.
