Hey everyone, the gopher team is a great team, but they are not UN-beatable.
I unfortunately missed viewing either game, so I may not have a basis for
judgement, but I think we are all overreacting to the sweep. Whether it was
the reffing, how Debus/Moen played or anything else, the gophers flat out
lost both games. Sure I think maybe we can call it a combination of things:
Were they looking ahead to CC?, or was it just a poorly played series by
Minnesota and well played by North Dakota.

What I am saying is that this gopher team has some great talent and they are
playing great hockey. From what I understand, they ran into a team that was
probably fired up to play the hottest team in hockey. The scenario is the
same as the Chicago Bulls in basketball right now.

To sum things up, noone expected this, but nobody expected BU to get swept
by Umass-Lowell either. BU bounced back against Providence, and I think you
will see the 19-games-in-a-row team show up against CC at Mariucci.

Give all the credit in the world to North Dakota. They put up the goals.

My personal thoughts.
