Well, sure, I'm enjoying the ride, but I'm the first to admit I hadn't heard
of half the Stars' players two months ago. I have been a North Stars fan in
ages past, but the Golden Gophers took their place in my heart years ago.
I haven't been a serious Stars fan since Neal Broten was a rookie.

With that said, however, it's great fun here on the bandwagon. After such a
mediocre season, it's a delight to see the Stars play such consistently good
hockey. Whether they win the Stanley Cup or not, the Stars are doing good
things for Minnesota hockey, energizing the many fans who had gone dormant
over the years.

It's not half as much fun as following the Gophers through the WCHA and NCAA
playoffs, but I can jump on a bandwagon as well as anyone. How 'bout those
Bruins, eh? :-) 8^) =:-O

Go Stars!
