Tom Buckley, who was listed as an RPI recruit over the summer but then
decided to play Major Junior, :-( is now playing for the Detroit Jr.
Redwings in the Ontario league. According to the November 4 issue of
THN, he has 12 points on 7 goals and 5 assists and has played in 10 of
the team's 11 games. His points total is tied for fifth highest on the
team and the goal total is third highest. RPI, obviously, could have
used him, although I don't know how well his Major Junior performance
would compare to his college performance.
