LAKE SUPERIOR AND MICHIGAN BOW OUT IN NCAA QUARTERFINALS
Clarkson University (East #4) upset CCHA Regular Season and Playoff Champion
Lake Superior State University (West #1) in NCAA Quarterfinal action by taking
two of three games (7-3, 2-6, 4-3) from the Lakers in Sault Ste. Marie. CCHA
regular season and playoff runner-up University of Michigan (West #3) was
eliminated in two games at Boston University (4-1, 8-1).
Thursday's first semi-final game will feature the University of Maine (East #1)
skating against Northern Michigan University (West #2) at 3:05 Eastern. The
second semi-final contest will have Boston University (East #2) facing
Clarkson University (East #4) at 8:05 Eastern.
ESPN to air NCAA Title Game - Live: Saturday's National Championship game
will be aired live by ESPN beginning at 8:00 Eastern from St. Paul. The Prime
Network will be televising both semi-final contests live on Thursday at 3:00
and 8:00.
