Here is the game summary:
 
First Period - 1 NMU Drake (19) (Plandowski, Melone) 11:54
 
The first period was played in two halves by Northern.  UAA looked very
impressive at the on set of the game.  Goalie Krake of UAA had some
impressive saves.  Northern looked flat.
 
The second half Northern began to show its speed and the ice appeared to
tilt toward Krake.  I noted in my post last evening that ref Gallagher
took a nasty check in front of the officials box (I sit behind this by 2
rows) and was down for a few minutes.  He looked shaken when he got up.

The second period was strong NMU offense but goaltender Pye seem to
loose his concentration.  Two goals in the period (Trboyevich at 8:50
and Knauft at 19:35) were allowed right after Northern goals.
 
The defense played very poorly this period for Northern.  UAA looked as
if it was going to be blown out by Northern but seemed to hang in there.
 
Third Period - 9 NMU Scott (27) (Beattie, Carpenter)
              10 NMU Drake (21) (Szabo) 9:15
              11 NMU Hiller (20) (Scott, Simpson) 12:59
              12 UAA Deschamp (5) (Larson, Kollman) 15:03

Beattie had a beautiful assist as Krake fell for Beattie's wind-up.
Beattie slip the puck gently on the ice over to Scott who eazily put the
biscuit into the goal.
 
Again, Northern played offensively but the defense didn't report for the
game.
