In response to Sarah's posting on alumni games.

Mich State has one every year. The format changes a little each time.

One year it was a team composed of Amo Bessone's players (he is Ron Mason's
predecessor at MSU) against Mason's alums - one year a couple shorter games
- one between two teams of the "older guys" including one from the 1950s,
the second between "newer guys". There was a special tribute to Amo at the
one and at then end group pictures of each team.

There are other things at Maine that look similar to MSU doings, naturally
enough.

Interesting about the "stick measuring". That was pulled in games a couple
time while Shawn Walsh was here (while you could still have a goal
disallowed).

Its usually a big affair for the alums. I followed some of them around
the golf course last summer - they had a day of their own at one of the
local courses.

And Thanks Sarah for helping recall some pleasant memories.
