Subj: A More Meaningful Tournament?

Instead of an 8 team round robin, I'd like to see the final 4 as a double
elimination. Like the 8 team baseball format, I guess it would look like
this:
Mon: Round one Seed 1 vs Seed 4
Round two Seed 2 vs Seed 3
Tue: Round three Loser Round one vs Loser Round two (one team out)
Wed: Round four Winner Round one vs Winner round two
Thu: Round five Winner Round three vs Loser Round four (one team out)
Fri: Open day Hobby award, whatever.
Sat: Round six Two remaining teams play. (one team 2-0, one 2-1)
Sat: Round seven If needed.
That's a lot of hockey for four college teams to play in a week, but it's
no worst then the NCAA baseball tourny is for college teams that play two or
three games a week in the regular season.
