Caught a few interesting transactions in today's paper pertaining
to players some of you might be interested in.
 
DETROIT assigned forward Mike Casselman (Clarkson '91) and goalie
Scott Cashman (BU '93) to their AHL club in Adirondack.
(heck, we could use him; I didn't even know he was drafted by Det.)
 
The Red Wings also assigned Dave Gagnon (Colgate '90) to the IHL's
Ft Wayne Komets.
 
PHILADELPHIA assigned goalie Scott Lagrand (BC '92) to their
AHL club in Hershey, PA.
 
BTW- Years in () refer to their final year in college. They may or
        may not have graduated (although in this case i know that
        Casselman and Gagnon, at least, did).
