Well, I got my first hockey fix of the season last night...I went
to the Detroit-Montreal game at JLA.
 
Former collegians playing their first professional game included:
 
  #23 DET Greg Johnson, C, North Dakota
  #29 DET Aaron Ward, D, Michigan
  #49 MONT Brian Savage, C, Miami
 
Also, Les Kuntar (SLU) was in goal for Montreal for at least the
first 40 minutes.  We left after two periods (my friend is playing
club hockey for Eastern Michigan and had to get back to practice)
with Detroit leading 7-1 and outshooting Montreal 34-6.
