Apparently Clarkson is the latest college hockey team to jump on the hockey
card bandwagon. The following press release appeared in my mailbox today:
 
"Start collecting your favorite Golden Knights in Clarkson's introductory
hockey card set. A set of color cards, representing each member of the 1993
ECAC Champion Clarkson University hockey team, is now available through the
University's Athletic Department.
 
Each card includes the player's personal information and statistics. The
limited edition hockey cards (2 1/2" x 3 1/2") are collated and shrinkwrap
(sic) per sets of 24. Sets may be purchased at Clarkson's Athletic
Department office in Alumni Gym at $7.00 per set. Or send a check for $8.00
(includes postage and handling), made payable to Clarkson University
Athletics, to Clarkson University, Box 5830, Potsdam, NY 13699-5830. All
proceeds will benefit the University's athletic programs."
