In an article about the Lk Placid-Albany battle for the ECAC tournament,
the Times Union (Albany) reported that the Knick Arena was going after
first round games in 1994 and 1995 and the final four for 1996. I thought
that the 1996 final four had already been awarded to Cincinnati.
 
(my understanding is that it went

1996:   Cincinnati
