Here is how the seeds would come out if you used TCHCR. MSU would be
the seventh west team, which historically is moved over into the east 6
slot.
West East
Michigan 1 Maine
Lake Superior 2 BU
Miami 3 Harvard
Duluth 4 Clarkson
Minnesota 5 RPI
Wisconsin 6 MSU
Since the selection commitee does not use TCHCR, I do not expect the
seeds to actually come out this way. For example, instead of a 4th CCHA
team, you could see a 4th WCHA or a 4th ECAC team. Ya never know.

PERFORMANCE is based on won-lost record only; game sites and margin of
victory are not considered, for example. Performance ranges from +100
(for an undefeated and untied team) to -100 (for a winless and untied
team), with a .500 winning percentage getting a zero performance.
SCHEDULE is the average rating of a team's opponents.
RATING is the sum of performance and schedule and represents an
evaluation of how each team has done so far with respect to the rest of
college hockey.
Based on 735 Division I games. Only games between the 43 teams eligible
for the Division I tournament are considered. Play-off games are
weighted the same as regular season games.
