The University of Maine Black bears lead the Boston University Terriers
1-0 after one period of play in the Hockey East championship game being
played at the Boston Garden tonight. Jim Montgomery scored at the three-
minute mark.
 
Earlier this evening UMass-Lowell defeated the University of New Hampshire
in the HE consolation game, in overtime.
