(yes, there are two Alfond Arenas ... the "other" one, from my
perspective, is on the campus of Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and
about an hour down I-95 from Orono. wts)

From today's Bangor Daily News ...

Waterville -- Sarah Gelman's third goal of the game, following her
rink-length rush at the 6:27 mark of the third period, broke a 4-4 tie
and led Colby College women's hockey team to a 7-4 win over the
University of Maine at Alfond Arena here Wednesday night.

Elna Gordon added an insurance goal at the 13:28 mark and Anne McManus
scored into an empty net to clinch it.

Christy Everett had two goals and two assists for the winners; McManus
had three assists to go with her goal and Gordon and Kate Diana had
assists. Goalie Alyssa Bensetler made 24 saves for the 4-9-1 winners.

Stacey Rondeau had the hat trick for 7-6 Maine; Heather Diller had the
other goal and Amanda Moors had two assists. Carrie Bodwell made 46
saves.
