during last night's sabres-nordiques monstrosity, the TV commentators said that
`89 draft pick Scott Thomas had signed with the buffalo sabres and could be
skating with them as soon as. . . uh. . . tonight.  then they went on to tell
us he played at "clarkson college."  (i believe he's a center and was captain
this year at Clarkson.)  guess the ECAC gets no respect, even in upstate new
