to alabama huntsville by a 6-3 score. Huntsville opened up a 1-0 lead
and air force came back to tie. The falcons then converted both
halves of a double minor to take a 3-1 lead. Huntsville took a major
and scored two shorthanded goals to knot the score at 3. They then
got the go ahead ona break out, and scored again to go two up with
about a minute and a half to go. There was a brawl that ended up with
huntsville's bench clearing, and the referee would not let the teams
shake hands after the game. As like last night, referee k c chermack
called the game closely and huntsville spent a lot of time killing
penalties, and they were reasonably successful. Air force travels to
South bend next week to play Notre Dame. The falcons will close out
their season at the independent tourney playing anchorage in the first
game, and then either fairbanks or notre dame in the second.
