I agree. Club hockey and D II/III hockey are really horses in different
garages. (If I may mix metaphors.) Penn State is an excellent D I football
school and Indiana University of Pennsylvania is a good D II (or whatever
the smaller schools are called these days) football program, but would you
compare them to each other? I wouldn't. They're good for what they are.
Personally, I'd rather watch Penn State compete for an ACHA title every
year than see them get hammered in the D I arena over and over. But,
that's just me.
