From today's Ithaca Journal...

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Former RPI forward Joe Juneau scored a
goal and assisted on two others Tuesday night to lead Team Canada to a
5-2 victory over Team USA.
The game was the second of a 13-game series to be played between the
national squads, who tied in their first meeting on Sunday in Canada.
With the contest tied 2-2 in the second period, Juneau scored with
just over a minute remaining to give Team Canada a 3-2 lead. Dan
Ratushny, an All-American defenseman for Cornell University last season,
and Randy Smith assisted on the goal.
Canada added goals by Chris Lindberg and former Big Red forward
Kent Manderville in the final period.
The Canadians outshot the Americans 16-11 in the first period and
got on the board first with a goal by Todd Brost, five minutes into
the game. Assisted by Gorg (sic) Hynes and Lindberg, Brost fired a
wrist shot from the slot past USA goalie Scott Gordon.
Clark Donatelli scored the Americans' first goal and made it 1-1
at 10:06 of the first period, after Joe Sacco's shot deflected off
Canadian goalie Trevor Kidd.
But with 10 seconds left in the opening period, Canada's Scott
Scissons scored when Fabian Joseph slapped a shot off the pole,
putting Gordon out of position.
Donatelli tied the game at 2-2 in the second period on a short-handed
goal, assisted by Sacco and Tom Pederson.
The second period was filled with penalties as 13 different players
spent time in the penalty box. The final 20 minutes of the game saw
three players from both teams ejected for fighting, an automatic
disqualification in international competition.
