I am well known on hockey-l as a Badger fan, and I have been known to
drink a bit of beer, but I won't claim responsibility for the actions
of every Badger fan. Despite the heated rivaly between Wisconsin
and Minnesota, we can get along.

Last year in Milwaukee for the Final 5, we sat in front of a group of
enthusiastic Gopher fans (I don't remember what game it was --
Wisconsin didn't play Minnesota in the final 5 last year). After a
little while of kind of ignoring each other, it became obvious that
both groups were talking about hockey, commenting on the play of both
teams at both ends of the ice, and we started talking to each other.
All in all we had a very enjoyable time. Later, we went to dinner with
Erik and Paula. We got some very strange looks from the waitress, since
4 of us were in RED and they were not only in Maroon and Gold, they had
their Gopher ears on.

I will be chearing for the Gophers (a WCHA team) against RPI... and
either way, I'll be cheering for CC on Saturday!
