           The Inaugural HOCKEY-L Preseason Poll
 
The coaches get to do it, sportswriters do it, why shouldn't we?
 
FORMAT:
1. Predict the order of finish for the teams in your favorite Division 1
college hockey league. Just a rank ordering will be sufficient. A list
of each league's members appears below.
 
2. Choose a preseason favorite for the league's Player of the Year.
 
3. Send your choices via e-mail to the person listed below who has
volunteered to collect responses for that league. To avoid undue
strain on the system, please DO NOT post your picks to the entire
HOCKEY-L list.  Entries should be e-marked by October 15th.

Of course, you may forecast the finish in as many leagues as you like,
but please send no more than one entry per league.  Can our accumulated
wisdom do at least as well as the coaches' polls?  Let's find out.
This is not intended to be a contest to boost your local team, although
general postings to the list on the outlook for your team this year
are certainly welcome.  Happy picking!
