IMO, this is about what I expected. Since WSBK is seen well outside of
Boston, this doesn't surprise me. I know I would have watched every bit
of the Beanpot I could have, but (thanks to WABU!) it wasn't on WSBK.
That seems to present a problem in the future. Understanding that WABU
wants the Beanpot all to itself, it certainly would be better if WSBK
carried it. This is primarily due to tha fact that (most likely) there
are hundreds of alums of BU, NU, BC, & Harvard who don't live in Boston
anymore and within WSBK range who died when they heard that ESPN2/WABU
had the games and WSBK didn't.
