Last night, two firsts:
 
On the local tv news they had a trailer plus highlights of last
Sundays women's college game (Cornell 4, Harvard 3 in overtime).
 
and
 
On channel 9 news (non-local, a more major news broadcast), they
had a full 5 minute segment on adult women's hockey -- introduced
in the spirit of `what to watch since there's currently no NHL
hockey in the area'.  It had game footage (USA Hockey refs), brief
interviews with players and a coach, and a strong positive feel.
