Come to think of it, the Hockey East decision to go with a shoot-out is great
for goalies.  No longer will they have to endure the "It's all your fault"
chant from fans.  Someone else on the team can lose a game. <<
 
I'm inclined to think that this will put more pressure on the 'tenders. If
they get nervous and let a weak goal slip through, the fans are going to cast
the blame even more viciously. Like I've said before, as a PLAYER I HATE
shootouts (bad experiences [yes that's PLURAL :-)]), as a SPECTATOR I LOVE
shootouts.
