I am from the Syracuse area and to the best of my knowledge I don't think
the school has a Div I or III team.  I think that they have a club team but I
am not certin.  The campus itself doesn't have an ice rink so the club team
would have to play in the city somewhere.  Where this location is I do not
know.  I have never heard anything about Syracuse hockey mentioned on the
local news so it doesn't seem to be a big deal in relation to Syracuse's
other sports.
 
A big reason for this may be that hockey is just now coming of age in Syracuse.
They just received a minor league team (sponsored by Vancouver i think) and
as I hear it has got quite a showing. The team is ready to begin play this
season.
